Cytoplasm

The part of the cell which occurs between plasma membrane and nuclear membrane is called cytoplasm.
The inner granular mass of cytoplasm is called endoplasm.The outer clearer layer is called ectoplasm.
Cytoplasm consist of an aqueous ground substance called Cytosol which contain variety of cell organelles.,insoluble waste,storage products.

Functions
1)It act as a store of vital chemicals.
2)It is a site of certain metabolic pathways.
