Porifera

1) These are non-motile animals attached to some solid support. They are called as sponges.

2) There are holes or pores all over body.

3) The canal system help in circulating water throughout the body to bring in food and oxygen.

4) These organisms are covered with a hard layer outside.

5) The body design involve very little differentiation and division into tissue.

6) They are mainly found in marine habitats.

For Example: Euplectelia, sycon, spongilla.
